NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – CUSO officials planning on attending NACUSO’s upcoming Directors Conference should remember to pack their Hawaiian-style shirts and tropical attire. The 2004 conference will be held Nov. 10-12 at the Kauai Marriott Resort & Spa on Lalapaki Beach on the island of Kauai. Among the speakers on tap for the three-day conference are: * Joe Saari, CEO and co-founder of Precision Information, LLC, a leading provider of interactive financial education products to financial service firms and individual investors. Saari is a registered investment advisor and member of the Governor’s Task Force of Financial Education in the State of Wisconsin. He has been a featured guest on programs such as CNBC’s Squawk Box, Bloomberg Personal Finance and CNN’s Your Money. * Bob Baranoff, FLMI, LLIF, SVP/Research for LIMRA International where he’s responsible for the company’s North American research program including monitoring industry results and tracking the strategic issues affecting the financial services industry; * Lisa Renner, CEO of Beyond Marketing, LLC – the first full-service marketing CUSO.
