SPARTA, Mich. - COWWW Software continues to make hay in the credit union space, this time signing Columbus Metro Federal Credit Union in Ohio to the vendor's browser-based COLD storage system. The system allows credit union staffers to archive, retrieve and distribute documents internally and at the teller window, improving member service, the company says. "We wanted to save some trees by not wasting so much paper and save time by implementing an affordable, user-friendly system," says Jim Downey, information systems manager for $95 million Columbus Metro.
