VISTA, Calif. – Bluepoint Solutions now is offering credit unions a Web-based alternative for standalone e-statement products, the company says. Called Internet Member Access, it offers member access through the Web to such items as statements, canceled and deposited checks, receipts and loan documents, as determined by the credit union using the solution. The company says deploying the IMA product would eliminate the need for a standalone e-statement solution, lessening the burden on IT staffs and improving member service. "Our goal has always been to provide credit union employees with instant access to any document. Now we've extended that same functionality to the member," says Hal Tilbury, Bluepoint founder and CEO. Point-of-origination capture, automated indexing and a member-centric database also ensures documents are easy to find, Tilbury says. "Bluepoint credit unions will never receive a `where's my document' phone call from a confused member," he says.
