WASHINGTON – The SBA is inviting Arizona credit unions and others to testify on what the agency could be doing better with its regulation and enforcement practices. Michael Barrera, national ombudsman for the U.S. Small Business Administration, and SBA Administrator Hector Barreto will gather information from participants on devising ways to resolve complaints about excessive regulation and enforcement. The Phoenix area meeting is one of several scheduled by the SBA to collect information for ongoing negotiations with 35 other federal agencies. The Sept. 29 hearing will be held 1-3:30 p.m. at the Governing Board Room of Maricopa Community College, 2411 W. 14th St. Those planning to testify should contact Bruce Hodgman at the SBA District Office, (602) 745-7200 or at [email protected].
