MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. – Liberty has created a new product suite that it says can help credit unions reduce charge-offs related to checks and ease compliance with Check 21. Its Check Management Solutions is designed to help credit unions resolve and prevent non-payment, NSFs, lost or stolen checks, forged signatures and other misdeeds associated with checks The CMS product line will also incorporate the latest Check 21 requirements. Check 21 goes into effect on Oct. 28. "That means (credit union) staff won't have to invest valuable time learning the new laws' complexities," said Liberty Product Manager Kristy Grayson. "In fact, at the click of a mouse, credit union employees get explanations for thousands of issues, laws and procedures involved in managing checks." Powered by Ingeniuxr, CMS was developed in partnership with ResolverGroup, LLC and CO-OP Network. Liberty serves as a primary product distributor.
