APPLE VALLEY, Minn. – Wings Financial Federal Credit Union has converted its more than 6,000 bill pay subscribers to the PayLynx system from PSCU Financial Services. The $1.5 billion Wings Financial, which recently changed its name from NWA FCU, is now offering its 117,000 members the ability to schedule advance and recurring payments, download from Money or Quicken, and use bill presentment through the PayLynx deployment of CheckFree Corp.'s end-to-end Web-based billing and payment solution. In less than three years, PSCU Financial Services has implemented PayLynx at more than 200 credit unions, the big CUSO says. "Our 200,000-plus subscribers can testify to the competitive advantages offered by PayLynx, including no lost float, instant activation, email statement notification and industry-leading electronic payment processing rates," says David Serlo, president of St. Petersburg, Fla.-based PSCU. Wings FCU had been using ORCC as a bill pay provider, according to the 2004 Credit Union Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.
