ELGIN, Ill. – Lending Solutions, Inc. said it can now help credit unions with processing new-member and deposit-account applications. LSI said it will now process applications for new member requests, savings accounts, checking accounts and other deposit accounts. According to LSI, credit unions have been approaching the company for ways to help them obtain preliminary information from prospective and existing members opening primary deposit accounts, such as savings, checking and money markets. The new program has already been implemented for Lockheed FCU. The credit union reports that over 250 new members have come on board since it signed on with LSI. Lockheed said the LSI component was essential because it had done so much marketing and advertising that it needed LSI to help it take advantage of its exposure in the community.
