CLEARWATER, Fla. – Operational efficiency, anti-fraud and Check 21 strategies highlighted the agenda for TWS Systems Inc.'s 14th annual client conference recently at Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort. More than 120 executives and managers from the transaction processing and ATM solutions provider attended, including William Gibbs, records supervisor at Newport News Shipbuilders Credit Union in Virginia. "This year's conference provided attendees the opportunity to meet other users and get their unique perspectives. This type of feedback is precisely what I needed," Gibbs says. The company says its TWS Best Practices Institute will incorporate best-practice models developed during the conference into its training sessions, which range from one day for existing customers wanting to learn more about the latest software upgrades to two weeks for new customers. The overall theme of the conference was "Sharpening Your Competitive Edge." "As the industry moves closer to Check 21, knowing how to fully leverage technology is imperative to a financial institution's success," says Milton King, TWS Systems president.
