WASHINGTON-CUNA and NAFCU have nominated American Airlines Federal Credit Union Vice President and General Counsel Faith Anderson to serve on the Federal Reserve Board's Consumer Advisory Council. "Ms. Anderson is extremely knowledgeable about and articulate on consumer protection issues, and we believe she would make an outstanding contribution to the work of the Council," CUNA Chairman Dick Ensweiler, president of the Texas Credit Union League, wrote in his nominating letter. In her position at the $4 billion American Airlines FCU, Anderson deals with consumer protection rules, including Truth in Savings, Expedited Funds Availability, Equal Credit Opportunity, and many others. In addition, NAFCU President and CEO Fred Becker wrote in NAFCU's letter that, in order to meet the Fed's request to diversify its CAC members, the trade association would be nominating three other individuals: $2.2 billion Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union Senior Vice President of Internal Audits James Minge; ESL Federal Credit Union Senior Vice President and General Counsel William T. Pryor; and Chetco Federal Credit Union Vice President for Compliance and General Counsel Peter C. Spratt.
