ALEXANDRIA, Va.- Treasury Secretary John Snow will headline NCUA Chairman JoAnn Johnson’s Forum for Credit Unions in Lima, Ohio on Sept. 10. “I’m pleased that Treasury Secretary Snow will be joining House Financial Services Committee Chairman Michael G. Oxley and me to discuss several important initiatives that impact Ohio credit unions and their thousands of members,” Johnson said. “In addition to gaining invaluable information pertaining to financial education initiatives, identity theft and health savings accounts, this forum affords participants the opportunity to gain insight directly from two of our country’s top policy makers.” Earlier that same day, Johnson and Oxley (R-Ohio) will address a credit union audience in Mansfield, Ohio. Oxley and Johnson will also make appearances at the Lima event that afternoon. All Ohio credit unions are welcome to participate. Visit NCUA’s Web site at www.ncua.gov or e-mail [email protected] or call (703) 518-6330 for more information or to register for either free event.
