CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Credit union managers who find themselves buying PCs and other major tech gear as the year wears on are hardly alone. A survey of 1,400 technology decision makers at North American and European enterprises found 80% plan to buy PCs and 72% will be buying servers in the second half of 2004, according to Forrester Research. Those buying software, meanwhile, seem to be paying particular attention to infrastructure software such as application and integration servers, with an emphasis on software development work.
