WASHINGTON-CUNA will hold an election fair on Sept. 22 as part of its National Hike the Hill Month Program. The trade association announced that the CUs Vote election fair will feature booths on CUNA's many political programs, such as Project Zip Code and Get Out the Vote efforts, and advise credit union representatives on how to lobby members of Congress. Attendees will also be able to view CUNA's "Do's and Don'ts" video on how to lobby lawmakers. CUNA has invited a number of lawmakers, including Congressman Mike Michaud (D-Maine) and Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) to speak, and will spotlight a run down of the elections by political pundit Charlie Cook. It will be held at the Phoenix Park Hotel on Capitol Hill.
