OLYMPIA, Wash. – Washington State Employees Credit Union will be using a Seattle-based vendor of XML-based Web content management software to empower the CU's marketing staff to develop and publish Web content without expert technical help. The $1 billion CU also will be using the Ingeniux CMS solution from Ingeniux Corp. to manage its intranet and to provide its IT staff a comprehensive maintenance, security and content lifestyle solution, the company says. Until the new platform was deployed in July, the CU's marketing staff would create Web updates and then have technical staff publish them. "Ingeniux provided our team a simple-to-use solution, with time-saving benefits for our staff and increased access to current information for our WSECU members," said the 127,000-member CU's marketing manager, Jeff Kleingartner. Included in the deployment was a complete re-branding of the organization, including the Web site at www.wastatecu.org. Next up is an Intranet driven by the Ingeniux CMS platform, which will allow each of the credit union's departments to publish their own Web content. This is not Ingeniux's only CU client. For instance, the CO-OP Network uses Ingeniux CMS as a bad-check management tool.
