KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – University of Tennessee Federal Credit Union has appointed Rebeca Simpson to the position of Public Relations Officer. “This is a great move for me,” Simpson said. “I’m ready to get the ball rolling and work on promoting UT Federal Credit Union.” Simpson graduated in 2001 from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Communications, majoring in Journalism and is currently working on her Master of Public Administration. She previously worked as an assistant in the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. Simpson’s other work experiences include reporting for various news publications and interning for a variety of public relations offices. An avid volunteer, Simpson has also completed more than 2,000 hours of community service as a member of the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps.
