HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Move over newsletters – Redstone Federal Credit Union is debuting a new magazine called Connections. Designed to replace the credit union's existing newsletters, over 150,000 copies of the 16-page, inaugural issue have been delivered to households in the Tennessee Valley area with articles geared toward providing members information ranging from what the credit union is all about and what's going on in the community to tips on how members can improve their financial well being. "We want this magazine to not only be used as a financial resource, but as a community-focused informational resource that will be helpful to our members and select employee groups," said Redstone FCU Assistant Vice President of Marketing Ken Jost. "To our knowledge, the style, quality and size of this magazine is the first of its kind in the credit union industry in the southeast." According to Jost, with an in-house marketing and creative services team Connections has proven to be more cost effective overall than the previous four-page newsletters. "As a creative, fresh and informative magazine, Connections will give our members a new approach to understanding the real benefits of being a credit union member and how Redstone FCU truly connects with the communities we serve," said Jost.
