MADISON, Wis. – NCUA Board member Debbie Matz is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the 10th Annual CUNA Lending Conference. The four-day event will be held Nov. 14-17 in New Orleans. Matz will focus her speech on "Reaching New Markets: The Key to Future Lending Success" on an issue of major concern to the future of credit unions – the slow growth of new membership despite record increases in potential membership. She will identify a number of underserved markets as well as best practices for reaching those potential members. The CUNA Lending Conference will also feature several general and breakout sessions and roundtables for attendees.
