HARRISBURG, Pa -The Pennsylvania Credit Union Foundation, through the requests from Hershey Federal Credit Union and Lebanon Federal Credit Union is lending a helping hand to recent tornado victims. The $1,000 donation to the Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Department is in addition to the efforts already underway by Hershey FCU and Lebanon FCU. Both credit unions have not only made monetary donations but are also providing special lending arrangements for affected members, including no interest loans, loan payment deferments or interest only payments. “Mother Nature unleashed her fury in this small farming town, so I'm pleased to be able to provide some assistance for the families on behalf of all 700 credit unions in Pennsylvania,” said Foundation Chairman John Kebles. “It's during times like these that we must all do our part in our communities and I'm proud that credit unions have been doing this for over 70 years.”
