MADISON, Wis. – SHAREXT, a mortgage servicing and delivery venture launched by CUNA Mutual Mortgage last month and which is owned and managed by the company, has partnered with mortgage applications specialist MortgagebotT to offer credit unions an opportunity to purchase Mortgagebot's streamlined and economical Internet-based loan origination system at a "significant" discount on implementation and transaction fees. Based in Cedarburg, Wis. Mortgagebot's customer base exceeds 400, including 23 of the largest top 100 CUs. Jim McCourt, SVP, Homeownership Solutions, CUNA Mutual Group, noted that Mortgagebot and CUNA Mutual Mortgage Corp. have been partners for a long time, "so it was only natural to extend the partnership to SHAREX and its membership."
