Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union, Anchorage, Alaska, Vice President of Internal Audit/Compliance Lily Li has completed the series of examinations necessary to earn the designation NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO). The program is organized by NAFCU, covering all of the major federal regulations that govern credit union operations: lending, discrimination, share accounts and privacy/security. There are only 351 NCCOs across the United States. Orange County Teachers Federal Credit Union, Santa Ana, Calif., has announced the winners of its 2004 Educators First Award program. This award recognizes the dedication and achievements of educators who serve in Orange County and its surrounding counties. Each year, the credit union selects 10 educators, classified and certificated, who have made a difference in the lives of students, staff, and the educational community as a whole. The 2004 recipients of the Educators First Award are: Leslie Carr, Rigo Cortes, John Hango, Jacky Kriskey, Joe Miller, Betsy Olson, Gay Royer, Cherri Sterling, David Stoffel and Olivia Viramontes.
