LYNCHBURG, Va. – VACORP broke ground on its new 9,000 square-foot corporate headquarters last week here. The new headquarters will be ready in the first quarter of next year and it marks one of many changes VACORP CEO Jim Hansen has brought to the corporate since arriving last year. Hansen also changed the corporate's name from Virginia League Corporate FCU to VACORP; has added management members; and expanded the corporate's product line. VACORP has shared space with the Virginia League for 28 years. “The design of the new headquarters building became a necessity to handle staff expansion associated with a variety of new products and services we have brought to our members over the last couple years,” said Hansen. PW Campbell is the design/build firm for the project.
