TEMPE, Ariz. – Who needs Suze Orman or financial “tips” from friends when TruWest Credit Union offers Ask Lenore@TruWest? For the past year TruWest Vice President of Marketing Lenore Froelich has been offering financial advice on local television show Your Life A to Z. The popular hour-long show airs every Monday and Froelich’s segment generally runs about seven minutes. Froelich’s weekly show topics are also available on the TruWest CU Web site. According to Froelich “Ask Lenore @ TruWest” not only presents a great way to connect with the community but it also gives the public a chance to voice their financial concerns and have them addressed by an expert they can trust. “It’s been about two weeks and we’ve gotten so many questions on everything from interest only home loans to how to save money to put kids through college,” said Froelich. “I am very excited about this unique opportunity for TruWest to give back to the community. Providing smart financial solutions is a key goal for us and this is another great way that we are able to accomplish that.” Questions can be asked via the TruWest CU Web site (www.truwest.org) or by using the Ask Lenore @ TruWest hotline. Members who have their questions answered on air can win a free pair of Major League Baseball’s Diamondback tickets or a free gas card. Recently Froelich co-hosted an entire show on how to start your own business, which featured advice on topics ranging from the importance of maintaining records and what the credit union looks for in business lending applications to firsthand accounts of entrepreneurial highs and lows.
