WASHINGON – MBNA, the largest purchaser of credit union's credit card portfolios, has joined a coalition of major card issuers to educate consumers about card fraud prevention, credit information and credit scores. In addition to MBNA, other issuers include Capital One, Chase Manhattan Bank, Citigroup, Discover and MBNA. The coalition has launched a Web site at www.YourCreditCardCompanies.com and plans consumer oriented advertisements in national magazines and on television.
