ALEXANDRIA, Va.-NCUA recently enhanced the search feature on the agency’s Partnering and Leadership Successes Best Practices Web site, NCUA Board Member Debbie Matz announced. Using the new search feature, users will be able to focus their searches specifically on credit unions in their state. The PALS Best Practices Web site has logged more than 300 programs by nearly 200 credit unions in 40 states. “PALS best practices offer credit unions the opportunity to learn from their colleagues what works in trying to reach out to new members – especially the underserved – and to improve services to existing members,” Matz stated. “Now we have enhanced our PALS website to navigate even more quickly through hundreds of outstanding programs.” Matz encouraged credit unions to add their programs to the site. “I want to give everyone an opportunity to gain recognition for their good work, and to share their experiences with other credit union leaders. There is no limit on new ideas. As long as credit unions continue to offer innovative ways to enhance their services and reach new members, we are looking to add new credit unions and new programs.” To reach the PALS Best Practices Web site from NCUA’s home page (www.ncua.gov), click on PALS then Best Practices.
