NASHVILLE – Another corporate credit union has joined the ownership ranks of CU Business Group, LLC. This time it's VolCorp. VolCorp joins Mid-States, FirstCorp, Northwest Corporate, First Carolina and Empire Corporate as owners in CU Business Group, LLC, a CUSO originally formed by Northwest Corporate to provide credit unions with business services they can offer members. The CUSO has been successful so far. It has 53 credit union clients in 12 states, and it recently surpassed $100 million in loans it helped CUs close. VolCorp is planning on holding some educational sessions to get members up to speed on the new product.
