BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Mutual Savings Credit Union President/CEO and Alabama Credit Union League Board Chairman Dale Dalbey has been named one of Birmingham’s “Top 40 Under 40″ by the Birmingham Business Journal. This annual ranking honors local individuals who are making a difference in the community. “Aside from being extremely honored that my board would submit my name for such an honor, I am thrilled to have been selected. The timing was also perfect,” said Dalbey, “Since next year I will no longer qualify in the `Under 40′ category.” Upon learning of Dalbey’s selection, Alabama CUL President Gary Wolter said, “It is very satisfying to see credit union professionals finally receiving the recognition they deserve in the business community. Several Birmingham-based credit union CEO’s were listed earlier this year as leaders in the financial services industry by this same business publication and I could not be prouder that Dale has been recognized in this manner.”
