MADISON, Wis.-When nominations to the CUNA Board closed July 9, 13 names were in for seats on the board. The District 4, Class A election appears to be heating up, where incumbent Rolla (Mo.) Federal Credit Union CEO Janet Honse is facing challengers Wauwatosa Credit Union (Wis.) CEO Dean Wilson, Point Plus (Wis.) Credit Union CEO Pat Wesenberg, and Premier (Ill.) Credit Union CEO Jim Roche. District 3, Class C incumbent Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union (Fla.) CEO Tom Dorety is running against MZX Federal Credit Union (Ala.) CEO Greg McClellan. Also Hershey (Pa.) Federal Credit Union CEO Diana L. Roberts, the District 1, Class A incumbent is facing competition Other nominees include: * District 1, Class D: Joseph Bergeron, president, Vermont CU League, South Burlington, Vt.; * District 2, Class B: William Herring, president/CEO of Cincinnati (Ohio) Central CU; * District 2, Class D: Robert S. Walls Sr., president/CEO, Delaware CU League, New Castle, Del.; * District 5, Class C: Harriet May, president/CEO, Government Employees CU of El Paso (Texas); and * District 6, Class B: Grace Mayo (incumbent), president/CEO, Telesis Community CU, Chatsworth, Calif. Voting began July 14 and will close Sept. 1. Those elected will take their seats at the conclusion of CUNA’s Symposium.
