WALNUT CREEK, Calif.-The Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) has recently kicked off the first in a series of free educational Webinars for its members. The first Webinar, entitled Marketing Muscle for Lenders-Creating Your Competitive Edge was presented by CUNA Mutual Group Director of Brand Strategy/Consulting Deborah Watterson and featured information ranging from the difference between marketing and advertising and trends/motivations to understanding the competition’s game strategy and developing a value proposition. According to MAC Board Chair Anne Upson-Legg the Webinars are another way to provide more value to out-of-state members who are unable to attend MAC regional workshops or roundtables. Topics for future Webinars include Building a Marketing Plan with Bottom Line Focus and Marketing Small Business Offerings.
