MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. – Cavion Plus has added instant update functionality to its Internet banking platform. Called Account Alerts, the service allows members to receive real-time alerts through e-mail, text messaging or secure messaging within the Internet banking sign-on. Notifications fall under four categories: account thresholds, such as when a balance hits a specific amount; transactions, such as when a direct deposit occurs; check status, when a specified number check has cleared; and date-driven reminders, such as birthdays, tax deadlines and mail stop alerts. "Account Alerts not only raise member awareness, they create an environment where members are more proactive, productive, and efficient in the management of their accounts.
