WATERLOO, Iowa – It is once again that time of year when John Deere Community Credit Union (JDCCU) offers Diversity Alliance grant funding for programs implemented in 2005. With a mission statement of "building bridges within our community to embrace, promote, and celebrate diversity," the grant provides funding to non-profit organizations supporting diversity efforts in the community. "Last year, the Diversity Alliance grant awarded funding to the James & Meryl Hearst Center for the Art's Cinco de Mayo Celebration and other wonderful programs," said JDCCU CEO Jean Trainor. "The Diversity Alliance grant is a fantastic way for the credit union to reinvest into the communities we value and serve." The Diversity Alliance grant was established in 1999, and has since funded various community programs.
