Diamond Credit Union, Pottstown, Pa., has broken ground on its Spring Township branch. Construction of the 4,700 sq.-ft. facility has already begun and is scheduled for completion in Fall 2004. The upcoming Spring Township-based branch, teamed with an existing branch inside The Reading Hospital, will play a critical role in Diamond CU’s future success. Baxter Credit Union, Vernon Hills, Ill., has broken ground on its Crystal Lake service center. The new service center is scheduled to open October 2004, and will be providing BCU’s full range of products and services, including savings and deposit accounts, mortgages, loans, credit cards and Members Financial Services (MFS). In addition, the Crystal Lake facility will host a Community Center. This Community Center will be available for use by community organizations during working and after hours. Sun Federal Credit Union, Maumee, Ohio, has broken ground on its new corporate center. The Sun FCU Corporate Center is scheduled for completion in December 2004. The new two-story, 15,300 square-foot facility will house five different SFCU departments, staffed by more than 30 employees. Rudolph/Libbe is the general contractor and Norm and Associates is the architect/planner of the facility. Premier America Credit Union, Chatsworth, Calif., has cut the ribbon on a new Valencia branch. The new branch is a full-service financial institution, offering checking and savings accounts, mortgages, credit cards, vehicle loans, lines of credit, insurance and even an auto buying service. A full service ATM is available 24-hours a day. Santa Clarita Valley Mayor Bob Keller and representatives of California State Senators Tom McClintock and Pete Knight and Assemblyman Keith Richman attended the festivities.
