TAMPA, Fla. – With summer well underway, MEMBERS Trust Co. is also forging ahead with building its credit union client relationships. The most current numbers show the nationally-chartered MEMBERS Trust operating at 26 credit unions in six states – California, Texas, Indiana, New York, Virginia and Florida. It has 19 representatives office in operation and seven credit unions have signed up to have agency offices, according to Tom Walker, president/CEO of MEMBERS Trust. Nine trust officers have also been hired. “Our goal of making MEMBERS Trust Company a national trust cooperative owned by credit unions is quickly becoming a reality,” Walker said. “Our roll-out is proceeding on schedule and according to our business plan.” Walker’s presentation at CUNA Mutual Group’s recent Discovery Conference “generated a lot of interest from credit unions of various asset sizes.”
