PEORIA, Ill. – CEFCU has come out with a new program to make buying a home cost affordable for first-time homebuyers. The credit union’s new Flex 100 Home Loan program allows the homebuyer to finance 100% of the purchase price. The Flex 100 Home Loan program offers a fixed payment for the term of the loan. Adjustable rates are also available for a potentially lower initial rate. Closing costs can be paid from the buyer’s own funds or from other flexible sources including gifts and grants. CEFCU’s First Mortgage Operations Manager Sara Payne said the Flex 100 Home Program “makes home ownership possible for many families without the burden of acquiring a large downpayment.” CEFCU has $2.7 billion in assets and more than 223,000 members.
