Chetco Federal Credit Union, Harbor, Ore., has broken ground on its Crescent City branch. The facility will have a stylish colonial exterior, a retro 50′s interior, and beautiful landscaping to enhance the Crescent City downtown area. The branch interior may look nostalgic, but will include the latest in technological advancements. A welcoming lobby with living room furnishings and a children’s play area will provide an experience of hometown friendliness. The focus has been to provide a warm welcome for members as they enter their new branch. Members Choice Credit Union, Houston, has hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for its 4,000 square foot branch. The facility features six drive-up lanes, a drive-up ATM, walk up teller facilities, Saturday hours and new account and lending services. The Katy Chamber of Commerce provided the “super-sized” scissors and red ribbon, and over 70 community leaders participated in the event.
