Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union, Fayetteville, N.C., Board Chairman Colonel (Ret.) Carl R. Broadhurst has been honored as recipient of the Ronald J. Hutchins Outstanding NC Credit Union Volunteer of the Year Award. Colonel Broadhurst was singled out for his “unselfish devotion” to FBFCU and for continuing to live the credit union motto of service, commitment and leadership while promoting the credit union ideal of “people helping people”. The Golden 1 Credit Union, Sacramento, Calif., employees were recipients of several awards from Credit Union Partners in Education (CU PIE). Member Service Representative Matt Spencer and Senior Records Imaging Technician Joshua Fishstrom won first and third place respectively at the Credit Union Partners in Education speech contest. In addition Member Education Manger Michael Lee and Process Design Coordinator Teresa Parquer were recognized for their financial literacy efforts.
