TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Southeast Corporate is bringing over an executive from CitiGroup to become its new SVP/CFO. Brian Avril was SVP and CFO for CitiGroup’s Cards Technology Group where he administered a $270 million budget. He will be responsible for the overall financial services area of the corporate and play a key role in the development of new financial products and services. Avril replaces Miles Strickland who will stay with the corporate, but is moving into the consulting area as VP of member consulting. Strickland will move to his new position this summer and will relocate to central Florida. The corporate puts a lot of focus on its consulting services, which include work with charter conversions, ALM modeling and strategic planning “I look forward to working directly with members again. This opportunity is a perfect match for my desire to change my career focus and at the same time to be closer to extended family in central Florida,” said Strickland.
