TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Trudy Prince, CCUE, president/CEO of Central Florida HealthCare FCU, was selected as the new chairman of the Florida Credit Union League at the league's annual business meeting on June 17 which preceded its 70th Annual Convention and Exposition. Prince succeeds Greg Blount, president/CEO of Tropical Financial CU, whose term expired. Michael Whalen, general manager of Rinker Materials CU, West Palm Beach, Fla. was elected to the board to replace Blount. He assumed his board responsibilities immediately following the Annual Meeting and will serve a three-year term. In addition to Prince, other board officers selected were: Melba Jordan, State Employees CU, First Vice Chair; Charles Wesley Atkins, Bay Gulf CU, Second Vice Chair; Chris Brooks, Gulf Winds FCU, Treasurer; and Mary Wood, CCUE, Florida West Coast CU, Secretary.
