BELTSVILLE, Md. – Ahold USA Federal Credit Union is the latest credit union to play the name change game. Effective July 1, the credit union will be called Market USA Federal Credit Union. "We wanted a name that would better reflect the diversity of the membership," said Market USA FCU President/CEO Robert McClosky. "Our membership base has grown to encompass people all over the nation, and now our name will reflect that." Originally established in 1953 for employees of Giant Food Inc. grocery stores the $98 million credit union merged in February 2003 with BI-LO Credit Union and has locations in Maryland, South Carolina and Tennessee.
