ALEXANDRIA, Va.-John S. Hogue, a 20-year veteran of NCUA, was recently named associate region director of operations (ARDO) in Region V. His move to ARDO is effective June 21, after which he will be responsible for managing the regional office divisions of supervision, insurance, special actions, and management services. Hogue joined NCUA as an examiner in May 1982 in Los Angeles. He rose through the ranks to regional automated specialist, supervisory examiner, then director of Special Actions. In November 2003, he was appointed to director of supervision in the Tempe, Ariz. regional office. He has received many special act awards and was twice named the Region VI supervisor of the year.
