ELGIN, Ill. – With Kane County Teachers Credit Union as premium sponsor of the Batavia Mothers Club Fox Trot, credit union mascot Rusty worked overtime to make it a hit. While older children and adults participated in a 5K Run, Rusty not only watched over the younger children during a word search competition but also helped to present medallions to each child who passed the finish line of the Fun Run. Plenty of KCTCU water bottles were on hand to quench runners' thirst. With nearly 450 participants the event raised almost $6,000 for the Batavia Public Schools and Resource Learning Centers.
