GLASTONBURY, Conn. – Industry veteran George McGourty is Open Solutions Inc.'s new vice president and national sales manager of OSI's Credit Union Group. McGourty has more than 20 years of financial industry experience, including most recently as senior vice president of credit union business development within the Aurum (Miser system) group at Fidelity Integrated Financial Solutions, which with the acquisitions of credit union data processors Computer Consultants Corp. and Aurum is now a major player in the credit union data processing space. As National Sales Manager for Open Solutions' Core Credit Union Group, McGourty will be responsible for new credit union sales and management of the credit union sales team. "Having worked in the financial industry all of my career, I have watched Open Solutions grow and penetrate the market with its solutions. Having worked with older technology in the past, I am very impressed with Open Solutions' relational open technology platform," said McGourty.
