MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. – As part of its long-range strategic plan of growing non-traditional revenue, Kinecta Federal Credit Union has acquired Tustin, California-based multi-line insurance agency Apollo Agencies, Inc. through its CUSO Kinecta Management Company, LLC. Apollo focuses on personal lines – auto, homeowners, and life and health insurance – with a portion of its business in commercial lines. Apollo will continue to operate from its existing five facilities and Agency Principal Tom Crandall will continue as chief operating officer. In addition, Agency Founder and Principal Mike Jacobs will continue in a consulting capacity. According to the CUSO, combining the two entities will make Kinecta Financial & Insurance Services one of the nation's largest insurance CUSOs in terms of gross revenue.
