MONETT, Mo. – Jack Henry & Associates Inc. plans to open two new remote item processing centers this year to handle the increased business expected in the wake of Check 21, the company says. An OutLink center in St. Louis will open July 1 and another will open in Philadelphia on Nov. 1, joining three other new centers that will operate the company's 4|sight Item Imaging System. "With the advent of Check 21, there is a major effort under way to convert to imaging. We see a significant business opportunity in both the eastern Missouri/western Illinois region and greater Pennsylvania area," said Tony Wormington, chief operating officer of Jack Henry. Another site is expected to be announced later this year or in 2005, the company said.
