ATLANTA – InfiCorp, a leading purchaser of credit union card portfolios, has purchased one large and one small card portfolio from two credit unions in the Carolinas. The credit unions are the $387 million Heritage Trust FCU, headquartered in Summerville, South Carolina and the second from the $129 million Charlotte Metro Credit Union, headquartered in Charleston, North Carolina. Heritage Trust reported to NCUA that its card portfolio was worth $27 million as of March 31, 2004. Charlotte Metro reported that its card portfolio was worth $4 million as of the same date.
