IFF Credit Union, Union Beach, N.J., has announced this year's IFF CU Scholarship Award recipients. Students were selected based on scholastic achievement and community service. This year's winners are Kerri Silva and Justin Cocuzza. 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union, Newport News, R.I., has presented scholarship to a four Peninsula High School students. Scholarship Award winners Justine Elyse Green, Jennifer Marie Harnish, Michelle S. Pelaez and David Lee Haskell each received $1,500. In addition, Susan Sheffler was named the Anne Watt Scholarship winner and was presented $1,500 from the Fort Eustis Officers and Civilian Spouse's Club. Ent Federal Credit Union, Colorado Springs, Colo. has selected 10 local organizations to receive its Youth Endowment Series (YES) program grants for 2004. The recipient agencies include: Boys and Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region; Court Appointed Special Advocates – CASA of Colorado Springs; Community Partnership for Child Development; Children's Advocacy Center; Emily Griffith Center; KIDPOWER of Colorado Springs; TESSA; Pikes Peak Library District; Workout, Ltd.; and Special Kids/Special Families "Zach's Place." The YES program directs specific support to organizations benefiting children and young people in the Pikes Peak Region. Northern Star Credit Union, Portsmouth, Va., has awarded the W. Frank Wright Memorial Scholarship to five local high school graduates. This year's recipients include Taylor Compton, Keisha Jones, Ashley Molnar, Ashley Walden, and Kiri Wiggins. Recipients were chosen based on academics, community involvement, character, and financial need.
