WARRENVILLE, Ill. – Mid-States Corporate FCU's first credit union member has signed up with business services CUSO, CU Business Group. Share Advantage CU of Duluth, Minnesota was the pioneering CU. CU Business Group was started by Northwest Corporate a few years ago, with First Corp and Empire Corporate later joining on as partners. Just last month Mid-States became a partner. CU Business Group offers packages to help credit unions conduct business lending, as well as offer business deposit accounts and other business services. Currently the CUSO is working with some 50 credit unions in 12 states. It has reviewed over $75 million in loan packages over the last year. Mid-States President/CEO Dave Preter said although it's early, interest has been strong. He expects more CUs to sign up shortly.
