COSTA MESA, Calif. – MeridianLink, a provider of enterprise business applications to credit unions, has completed a direct integration of its LoansPQ Transaction Manager with Fannie Mae’s automated underwriting system. With the direct connection to Fannie Mae, Meridian Link says credit unions can now seamlessly submit mortgage loan applications to Fannie Mae’s Desktop Underwriter system. With LoansPQ, CU members have a fast and convenient link to Fannie Mae. In addition, MeridianLink has recently added two new enhancements to its LoansPQ platform. First is a membership application module called Xpress Membership, which links CU membership inquiries simultaneously with automated loan pre-qualifications. When non-members go a credit union’s Web site, Xpress Membership provides them with an application to apply for membership. After submitting the application, Xpress Membership determines if the consumer is within the CU’s field-of-membership and provides them an instant pre-qualification on up to five difference loan products including vehicle refinance loans, mortgage refinance loans, home equity lines of credit, credit cards, and debt consolidation loans. MeridianLink has also added a sixth loan product type to LoansPQ – business loans – that enables CU members to instantly pre-qualify for this product. Using the LoansPQ Recommendation Engine, credit unions can determine if a consumer meets minimum lending guidelines on certain business loan products. .
