WATERLOO, Iowa, – John Deere Community Credit Union is making sure local children kick off the summer with fun by sponsoring the My Waterloo Days Festival Kids' Zone. The Kids' Zone features four areas of interactive activities. The Entertainment Zone will feature a Magic Show, variety shows, the YWCA Dance Team, Kinetic Energy School of Movement, The Dean of Juggling, and Black Hawk Gymnastics. The Extreme Zone is the place for kids to test their physical skills in the YMCA obstacle course and on the inflatables. Kids can let their creativity shine through in the Creative Zone while making wood projects with Home Depot, an art project with the Hearst Center for the Arts, and watch Mimi the Clown make balloon creations for them. The Learning Zone will have science demonstrations from the Bluedorn Science Imaginarium and equipment from the Together We Play inclusion program at the YMCA.
