MOORPARK, Calif. – Credit union data processor XP Systems hosted its annual Technology Forum at the Royal Pacific Resort in Orlando recently and new XP2 system applications were on display. XP2 is the company’s revamped core processing system that is being rolled out in stages. Credit unions on hand were able to test drive Courtesy Pay; XP2 Release 2 features including advanced product selection and configuration; and a pre-built Report Pack of business intelligence reports derived from XP2′s open relational database. According to XP, Release 2 of XP2 focuses on helping credit unions customize workflows and automatically match products to specific member needs using advanced decisioning capabilities. The meeting also gave attendees the opportunity for credit unions to meet with over 30 XP Systems preferred business partners. “Our Technology Forum is one of the best places for our customers to see new features of the system in action and to talk with vendors whose products add value to the XP2 system,” said John Edwards, president of XP Systems. Including CU attendees, guests, business partners and XP employees, some 515 people were at the event. Hosted on an IBM pSeries server, XP2 is now installed at more than 200 credit unions. XP Systems’ next customer meeting will be held in October 2004 in Tucson, Arizona.
