READING, Pa – It was CTCE Federal Credit Union night at the ballpark. The $55 million credit union sponsored a night out at Minor League Baseball’s Reading Phillies home ballpark on May 7 for credit union members. Over 1,500 members attended the game against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. CTCE FCU youth club member Lashette Showers sang the National Anthem in front of over 9,000 fans and CTCE FCU member Michael Gerbazio from sponsor company Misco Products won the chance to throw out the first pitch along with President/CEO, Glenn A. Potteiger. Fans were treated to visits from Youth Club Mascot, Sammy The Savers Squirrel, throughout the game. Sammy also teamed up with over 50 Youth Club Members to take the seventh inning stretch to a new level by singing, “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” for all the fans on the Phillies home field. Despite the home team losing to the Fisher Cats, members said the evening, which included a spectacular fireworks display, was fantastic.
