GROTON, Conn. – Ledge Light FCU, a $142.3 million credit union that serves more than 17,000 members including Pfizer Inc., its subsidiaries, and certain employee groups working at Pfizer locations, has partnered with GMAC Mortgage Corp. for the company to offer residential first mortgage products and services to its members, employees and families of Pfizer and its subsidiaries. Under the terms of the agreement, Ledge Light will work with members to decide what mortgage program best fits their needs using GMAC's entire menu of first mortgage products. GMAC will fund the loans. Local GMAC Mortgage representatives will also be available to answer any mortgage questions from the credit union and members. As of December 2003, Ledge Light had $34,303,524 in its mortgage portfolio. GMAC Mortgage is a subsidiary of GMAC Financial Services, the financing arm of General Motors. The company's Credit Union Services Division has relationships with more than 100 credit unions throughout the U.S.
